Faith and Baptism

Philip was sent by God to preach the gospel to one person in the desert, reading the Isaiah scroll and having questions he could not answer on his own. Once that man understood that Jesus was the answer to his question, he wanted to be baptized into this new faith he found.

Greater Advocate

What is God’s Rest?

When the writer of Hebrews offered rest from God, what kind of rest does God offer? God rested from His work of creation on His sabbath – then commands His people to enjoy a rest the same way – trusting in His provision. God offered peace – trusting in His provision and protection. God offered salvation – trusting His provided atonement instead of trying to make our own.
